Job summary

Xylem Colorado Springs is seeking a Machine Builder for on-site manufacturing operations. You will perform mechanical and simple electro-mechanical assembly in a fast-paced environment, following standard instructions and blueprints as required.

You will log hours in SAP and contribute to quality and safety in daily tasks. The role offers full-time employment with opportunities for career progression and participation in our comprehensive benefits program, including health, dental and vision

• May read and interpret blueprints (product specific).
• Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP).

Responsibilities

• Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
• Assembles all variations of in-house standard products.
• Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc solvent welding and thread taping.
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
• Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition.
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits.
