Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Specialty Artist – MAC to maximize MAC brand sales by engaging guests, performing makeup services and guiding them through product selections. You will uphold brand standards, deliver personalized service, and support in-store events while meeting sales goals and maintaining exceptional guest experience.

The role requires professional makeup artistry skills, strong customer service, and the ability to learn product knowledge quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; Cosmetology or demonstrator license required where state law mandates.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Strong sales, product knowledge and guest service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to store targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with guests and grow a preferred guest list.
• Greet guests, personalize service, offer samples and recommend products.
• Conduct makeup demonstrations, applications and lessons per MAC/Ulta standards.
• Stay informed on promotions and brand initiatives and communicate them to guests.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive guest experience and sales.
• Keep knowledge of trends, ingredients, and products to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain attendance and follow store policies and dress code.
