Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Specialty Artist – MAC to maximize sales of the MAC brand by engaging guests, assisting in product selection, and maintaining store standards. This role represents Ulta Beauty and the MAC brand to guests and supports the Experience Manager through performance, people, and process responsibilities.

Candidate must possess professional makeup artistry skills, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and share product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to meeting store goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by interfacing with existing guest base and following up on inquiries.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging every guest, personalizing service to their needs.
• Conduct personalized makeup demonstrations, applications, and lessons; skincare analyses; and product demonstrations to MAC and Ulta Beauty brand standards.
• Study and practice Skill Certification requirements and complete as many skill sets as appropriate.
• Stay informed about promotions and marketing initiatives within the brand and all categories/departments of the Ulta Beauty store.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events delivering guest experience and sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing industry trends, products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
