Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Associate Project Manager for MAC projects to support office reconfigurations, moves, and minor renovations. The role requires coordinating internal teams and external vendors to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will work on-site 4 days a week with one day remote, collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining project documentation. Salaries range from $75,000 to $85,000 with a discretionary bonus depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in facilities, real estate, or workplace services.
  • Experience with Move, Add, Changes (MAC) projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • CAD experience required.
  • Proficiency Bluebeam and project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on understanding client needs.
  • Basic understanding of building codes and construction means and methods is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for MAC.
  • Coordinate resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and contractors.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation (plans, scope, test-fits/ block plans, validations, schedules, budgets, change orders).
  • Manage MAC work order requests (non-project related).
  • Focus on small to medium MAC work (low spend/risk).
  • May partner with senior MAC or Project Managers to execute work.
  • Interface with Client End-Users/Project Requestors.
  • Oversee day-to-day MAC project execution to meet plans.
  • Monitor progress, identify issues, implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and codes.
  • Define scope; gather details from the requestor.
  • Vendor sourcing, oversight, change management, and conflict resolution.
  • Route for approvals as necessary.
  • Follow up with end-users to ensure satisfaction.
  • Partner with Occupancy Managers for data collection and floor plan accuracy.
  • Act as primary contact for stakeholders, providing updates on status and progress.
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments, employees, and external service providers.
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and ensure deliverables meet needs.
  • Track project expenses and manage budgets.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Assist in selecting, negotiating, and evaluating contracts with architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify improvements.
  • Ensure all close-out documentation is completed.
