Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mac Engineering Manager to build an enterprise Mac platform in tandem with Windows, governed by Iru. This leadership role owns strategy, people, and the full lifecycle of the Mac program, ensuring security, compliance, and support parity across devices.

Remote-capable with on-site requirements in Bloomington, MN, you will guide a skilled team, set standards, partner with Security and Compliance, and drive adoption of macOS across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• 5+ years leading engineers or technical teams in enterprise environments.
• Experience running enterprise Mac programs alongside Windows.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mac platform roadmap from pilot through enterprise rollout.
• Lead, hire, and develop Mac engineering staff.
• Define Mac standards for security, configuration, software, and lifecycle.
• Test and track program eligibility; ensure audit and regulatory readiness.
• Build the Mac support model with the Service Desk, including training and runbooks.
• Own Iru vendor relationships, licensing, and Apple Business Manager administration.
• Plan for macOS release cycles to keep upgrades predictable.
• Track adoption, compliance, and metrics; report to leadership.
• Coordinate Mac work with Windows, Intune, and VDI teams for a consistent user experience.
