Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Kearny, NJ is seeking a Specialty Artist for MAC to maximize brand sales through personalized makeup artistry, guest services, and in-store events. You will demonstrate looks, educate guests on products, and maintain MAC and store standards.

The role requires strong makeup artistry skills, the ability to build lasting client relationships, and participation in trainings. Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• High school diploma preferred; cosmetology license where required by state law.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage a growing guest base.
• Provide personalized makeup demonstrations, applications, and lessons.
• Stay informed on promotions and product knowledge to guide guests.
• Book appointments and support in-store events delivering guest experiences.
