Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Artist – MAC to maximize sales of MAC cosmetics and provide expert makeup artistry in-store.

You will engage guests, perform personalized makeovers, and maintain brand standards across service, guest experience, and events. The role requires professional makeup artistry skills, strong guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge and brand programs while supporting the Experience Manager.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology or demonstrator license required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Strong sales and guest service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals; contribute to store sales and loyalty targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with guests; grow a preferred guest list and follow up on inquiries.
• Provide personalized makeup demonstrations, applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to MAC and Ulta Beauty standards.
• Stay informed on promotions, marketing initiatives, and brand programs; participate in in-store events.
• Book appointments and support services and events to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain brand area cleanliness, replenishment, testing and hygiene standards; participate in resets and promotions.
• Share product knowledge and trends with guests and colleagues; serve as MAC brand ambassador.
