Job summary

Finix is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to own Mac device management, onboarding/offboarding, IAM, and security tooling, ensuring security baselines and scalable processes from day one. In this in‑office role in San Francisco, you’ll work with Kandji, Okta, and Palo Alto Networks, automate routines with shell or Python, support SOC 2/ISO 27001 compliance, and partner with HR and Security.

Base salary range is $110,000–$140,000, with equity and benefits to support a high-growth fintech

Qualifications

3–5+ years of IT operations in a Mac-first environment.
Hands-on expertise with Kandji, Okta, and Palo Alto Networks.
Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar.
Comfortable writing shell scripts or Python to automate tasks.
Startup or high-growth experience is a plus; ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

Device Lifecycle Management: Mac provisioning, enrollment, patching and decommissioning.
Employee Lifecycle: onboarding/offboarding and automated access provisioning.
Identity & Access Management: Administer Okta SSO, MFA, lifecycle policies.
IT & Network Security: Manage Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.
Compliance & Security: Support SOC 2/ISO 27001 audits and evidence gathering.
AV Support: Manage conference room AV systems and vendor relationships.
Tooling & Automation: Improve IT workflows with scripting and automation.
