Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking a sales-oriented team member in Chantilly, VA to consistently meet individual sales goals and support store profitability. The role includes promoting lesson programs, building relationships with teachers and local groups, and delivering compelling product presentations while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will participate in all store operations, maintain security, and take on senior-level responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.

• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
• Create business by networking with teachers/schools, churches, and community organizations.
• Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on training.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer.
• Participate in all areas of store operations including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
• Maintain store security including perimeter door keys, register keys and personal alarm code.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer
• Participate in all areas of store's operation including merchandising, displays, and maintenance
• Maintain store security including perimeter door keys, register keys and personal alarm code
• Additional duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $12.77 - 14.77 per hour plus commission depending on location, background and experience.
