Formación

• Experience in medical assisting, ideally within an ophthalmology setting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join a well-established ophthalmology clinic. The ideal candidate will support ophthalmologists in delivering high-quality patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations through both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer eye exams and assist with ophthalmic procedures
• Take patient histories and measure visual acuity
• Perform diagnostic tests such as tonometry and ophthalmoscopy
• Support physicians during patient evaluations and treatments

Patient Education

• Educate patients on eye conditions, treatment plans, and medication usage
• Provide clear post-visit instructions and follow-up guidance

Administrative Duties

• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supply levels
• Coordinate front office tasks to ensure efficient patient flow

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
