VNS Health seeks a Community Liaison to educate consumers about MAP/MAPD/DSNP products and to achieve enrollment targets. You will travel to community sources, build brand awareness, and conduct presentations while adhering to CMS guidelines and marketing policies.
The role requires a NYS Accident and Health license, valid driver’s license, and at least two years in Medicare/Medicaid sales or related experience. Bilingual skills are a plus and strong communication is essential.
The Community Liaison educates consumers in the communities served by VNS Health about MAP, MAPD or DSNP products and the benefits of enrolling in these VNS Health Plans products. Achieves monthly enrollment requirements and attends and conducts presentations during weekly events. This role works under general supervision.
NYS Accident and Health Insurance License, required
Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle or ability to travel to all five boroughs, preferred
High School diploma or the equivalent, required
Bachelor's degree, preferred
Minimum two years of managed Medicare, Medicaid, life insurance and/or any other sales experience that includes collecting premiums during the initial sale required OR a minimum two years of experience in a related department at VNS CHOICE, required
Experience marketing to a culturally diverse target population, required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups, required
Strong organizational skills, required
Existing relationships with key potential referrers, required
Bi-lingual skills, preferred
