Job summary

First Roles is seeking a M710-System Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role based in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on business analysis, requirements gathering, document and data lifecycle management to support critical decision-making and process improvement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, produce clear technical documentation, and help implement ECM strategies and reporting dashboards. A Bachelor's degree and several years in related business environments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4 years experience in related field.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, document/data lifecycle management, and process improvement.
• Experience supporting ECM strategies and enterprise data practices in a government, investment or financial services environment.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience creating clear, structured technical documentation (e.g., requirements, process maps, data and document flows).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business terms.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively identify and address areas needing attention or improvement.
• Familiarity with process automation tools used to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort (highly desired).
• Experience working with reporting tools and dashboards to support business insights and decision-making (highly desired).
• Understanding of investment, financial services, or a related business environment (highly desired).

Salary: $76,440 per year - estimated?

Contract: Up to 12 months with option of extension.
