Job summary

NexCore Group seeks a Systems Administrator to manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and the Windows core infrastructure in a Denver-based environment. You will optimize collaboration tools, enforce security standards, and provide high-quality IT support across platforms.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in a mid-level IT role, hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Windows Server, and strong PowerShell automation skills.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar mid-level IT role.
• Hands-on experience with: SharePoint Online administration (sites, permissions, architecture)
• OneDrive administration and troubleshooting
• Office 365 admin center, Teams administration
• Windows Server and Active Directory
• Entra identity management (multi-tenant preferred)
• Experience with hybrid identity configurations such as Azure AD Connect and password sync.
• Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and administration tasks.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals including DNS, VPN, and VLANs.
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, or other MDM/endpoint management tools.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization.
• Prior experience supporting a 100-300 user environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 platform including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID and identity security policies.
• Administer Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and file/print services.
• Provide Level 2 service desk and support for MS365, Windows Server, and Entra ID.
• Support SharePoint migrations, storage optimization, and security/compliance features.
• Monitor security, patching, and endpoint management; automate with PowerShell.
