Job summary

Luna Data Solutions, Inc. in Austin, TX, is seeking a Microsoft 365 Infrastructure & Site Reliability Engineer for a 12-month contract. Hybrid schedule with the Austin office two days per week; candidate should be available to start day one in Austin.

You will support reliability, scalability, security and performance across Microsoft 365, AD, Entra ID, Windows and Linux servers, cloud services, and automation platforms, working with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of experience in site reliability engineering or enterprise infrastructure.
• Administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server, and PowerShell.
• Enterprise infrastructure administration involving Windows and Linux servers, patching, monitoring, availability, and performance.
• PowerShell scripting and automation for operational workflows.
• Producing clear technical documentation and communicating complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid Exchange.
• Design automation using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability.
• Analyze and diagnose complex infrastructure problems; participate in incident response and preventive actions.
• Create and maintain runbooks, standards, and implementation records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, maintain, and monitor scalable, secure systems.
• Participate in on-call duties and after-hours support as needed.
