Job summary

TechPerm Incorporated is seeking a senior M365 Security & Compliance Administrator to lead security, compliance, and endpoint protection for a high-visibility federal prime program in Washington, DC. You will own device, identity, and M365 security posture, drive rapid responses to vulnerabilities, and ensure compliant access to mission-critical Microsoft 365 services. This is a remote role within the DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience or 12 years of experience total.
• US Citizen/US Person; able to obtain Public Trust (Level 5)
• Deep experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Entra ID

Responsibilities

• Architect and enforce M365 security guardrails and lead data protection strategy.
• Engineer Conditional Access across all platforms and build Intune baselines with remediation automation.

We are hiring immediately for a senior **M365 Security & Compliance Administrator** to support a high-visibility **Fortune 100 federal prime** program in **downtown Washington, DC**. This role leads security, compliance, and endpoint protection across a GCC tenant supporting a major federal mission.

The engineer will own device, identity, and M365 security posture; drive rapid response to vulnerabilities and outages; and ensure compliant, reliable access to mission-critical Microsoft 365 services.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s + 8 years (or 12 years experience)
• US Citizen/US Person; able to obtain Public Trust (Level 5)
• Deep experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Entra ID
• Advanced PowerShell automation and remediation capability
• Strong understanding of Conditional Access, identity risk, and ATO evidence
• Excellent communication & cross-team collaboration

Preferred:

Federal/high-assurance security experience; Jamf/Okta/Graph API; macOS hardening; enterprise Conditional Access.

Role Impact:

You will architect and enforce M365 security guardrails, lead Purview DLP and data-protection strategy, engineer Conditional Access across all platforms, build Intune baselines and remediation automation, drive vulnerability mitigations, operate Defender/Sentinel integrations, support ATO packages, and lead Tier 3 investigations.

This is a mission-critical role at the center of a federal cloud security ecosystem.
