Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced M365 Security and Compliance Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This senior role focuses on securing and maintaining compliance of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem across GCC, identity, devices, and telemetry, with emphasis on high-assurance environments.

You will lead security governance, implement controls, manage email security, Conditional Access, and Defender/Sentinel integrations, and support ATO evidence and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• US Citizen or US Person with ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
• Experience with M365 security governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and ongoing management of M365 security policies, standards, and guardrails aligned to federal requirements and organizational controls.
• Oversee data protection capabilities including Purview labeling, retention, and DLP.
• Manage Exchange Online email security, encryption, and anti-threat protections.
• Engineer device/compliance policies across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms (Intune).
• Lead Defender/Sentinel integrations for threat detection and incident response.
• Support ATO/control assessments with audit artifacts and evidence.
