Job summary

Intrado is seeking an experienced Systems/Platform Engineer to join the Back-Office Technology Engineering team. The role centers on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, identity management, endpoint security, and platform hardening in a dynamic enterprise environment.

You will own platform design, troubleshoot across multiple technologies, and deliver technical projects while supporting daily operations. The position includes on-call duties and collaboration with security teams to mitigate risk and improve

Qualifications

• 4+ years in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or related IT operations roles.
• Hands-on administration of enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments.
• Independent ownership of platforms, complex troubleshooting, and technical implementations.
• Balancing operational support with project delivery.
• Working within enterprise ITSM, ticketing, and change control processes (ServiceNow or similar)

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Manage and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and other assigned enterprise platforms
• Engineering and Delivery: Gather technical requirements, design solutions, and own implementations and technical projects
• Identity and Security: Manage Conditional Access, privileged access, authentication methods, and platform hardening; partner with security teams on investigations and risk remediation
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex escalations across identity, endpoints, applications, and infrastructure
• Automation and Scripting: Build scripts, tools, and procedures to reduce manual work and improve consistency using PowerShell, Power Platform, etc
• Platform Reliability: Monitor service health, eliminate recurring problems, and improve availability
• General Infrastructure: Support Windows Server, AD, virtualization, Linux, networking, and other technologies as needed
• Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain technical documentation and procedures; work with internal teams and vendors
• On-call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation for a 24x7 company, including off-hours maintenance and incident response
