Job summary

AV in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Modeling and Simulation Integration Engineer to support MDA’s M&S Office. The role focuses on integrating distributed HWIL simulations, supporting GT/FT events, and CDI activities, with travel up to 10-25% and occasional non-standard hours.

The position requires a STEM degree, 5+ years’ experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance. On-site work at Redstone Arsenal involves coordination with DES-I and external labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a technically challenging environment with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-starter capable of operating with minimal direction.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Participates in M&S framework integration for Ground Tests and Flight Tests and CDI activities.
• Supports Event Mission Manager as DES-I representative during GT/FT and CDIs.
• Coordinates communications between labs supporting CDI, GT and FT events.
• Drafts and submits PERSTAT reports and tracks pre-requisites for travel.
• Assists with scheduling test resources and facilitates meetings.
