Brewer Morris is partnering with a leading advisory firm to recruit a Tax M&A Director who will lead tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and strategic tax planning for middle-market and PE-backed businesses across the United States.

You will collaborate with owners, CFOs, and PE sponsors, oversee ASC 740 compliance, multi-state tax issues, and corporate reorganizations, and mentor junior staff while expanding the firm's transaction advisory practice.

Qualifications

• CPA required, MST or JD/LLM preferred.
• 10+ years in tax, transaction advisory, or public accounting.
• Deep expertise in M&A tax structuring, ASC 740, and corporate tax.

Responsabilités

• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements.
• Advise on M&A structuring, corporate reorganizations, and transaction planning.
• Identify tax risks, opportunities, and value-enhancement strategies.
• Provide expertise in ASC 740, federal and multi-state taxation, and corporate tax compliance.
• Partner with business owners, CFOs, private equity sponsors, and executive leadership teams.
• Mentor staff and help grow the firm's transaction advisory practice.
