Job summary

Wealthspire Advisors LLC is offering a 10-week Summer Internship supporting the M&A team in Chicago. This in-person role (three days/week) and remote two days/week provides exposure to investment research, CIM/CIP analysis, and deal evaluation, with responsibilities spanning financial analysis, prospect screening, and integration planning.

The program emphasizes learning about the financial services industry, collaboration within a team, and exposure to deal processes and client materials.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior preferred and pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field.
• Genuine interest in investment research or investment consulting and desire to learn about the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial environment with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Understand attributes that make prospects attractive for M&A in the RIA and business management spaces.
• Analyze CIMs/CIPs and summarize materials for the corporate development team.
• Create initial analyses based on prospect financials and Wealthspire benchmarks.
• Participate in initial calls with prospective target companies.
• Assist in deal valuation, opening balance sheet, and integration monitoring processes.
• Contribute to the creation of presentations and deal–evaluation materials.
