Job summary

Solomon Partners in Chicago is seeking a Summer Analyst for a 10-week internship beginning in early June 2027. You will collaborate with Full-Time Analysts and Associates on complex financial analyses across mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and fairness opinions.

You will join small deal teams, perform financial modeling and valuation analyses, and gain hands-on experience working closely with clients. A diverse, motivated group with strong quantitative skills is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - June 2028
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Will not require future sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Direct collaboration with Full-Time Analysts and Associates to perform complex financial analysis specializing in mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and fairness opinions
• Engagement in small deal teams alongside two or more senior members to analyze and execute mergers and acquisitions and principal investment transactions
• Hands-on opportunities to work closely with clients and perform financial modeling and valuation analyses
