Job summary

JLL seeks a Senior Associate in Corporate Development to support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. This role provides exposure to origination through integration and collaborates with senior executives on growth initiatives in the dynamic commercial real estate sector.

You will build financial models, draft memoranda, perform due diligence with cross-functional teams, and help negotiate transactions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business administration, science, or technical field.
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior management.
• Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in the commercial real estate sector.
• Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior executives with complex strategic projects including M&A, joint ventures, corporate partnerships, and divestitures.
• Build sophisticated financial models utilizing DCF, comparables, and build-versus-buy analysis.
• Draft executive-level memoranda, presentations, reports, and other strategic materials.
• Perform comprehensive due diligence activities with cross-functional teams to assess opportunities and risks.
• Support transaction negotiations and structuring with internal and external counsel.
• Conduct industry and competitive research, including SEC filings and market reports.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables across multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
