Responsibilities

• The Research Analyst will be part of the M&A Management Group, a small team responsible for strategic analysis, reporting and other functions relating to the management of the M&A business within Investment Banking.
• Interact with bankers across all levels of seniority.
• Dig in and get into the weeds to understand abstract M&A questions.
• Develop thought pieces relating to M&A activity, trends and key drivers.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects for senior M&A leadership.
• Involve in development and implementation of critical strategic initiatives.
• Analyze GS's M&A business, including performance vs competitors and market share.
