The M&A Lead supports the company’s strategic growth by developing sophisticated financial models to evaluate investments across the energy value chain and serve as lead executioner on M&A transaction. This role is central to analyzing opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, joint ventures, infrastructure and power investments, and large‑scale capital projects such as LNG. The ideal candidate has a strong background in private equity, hedge fund, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance—paired with a solid understanding of the energy industry’s market drivers, regulatory landscape, and asset‑heavy business models.
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
Preferred: MBA, CFA, or energy specific certifications preferred
Minimum: 8 years related work experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or financial analysis—preferably within the energy sector
