Job summary

Henkel in Stamford, CT seeks an experienced Senior IT Project/Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams through complex M&A IT integration, due diligence through Day 1 and post‑merger optimization.

You’ll own the program structure, roadmap, governance, and benefits realization, coordinate ERP migrations (SAP) and data integration, and partner with business leaders to drive value while navigating ambiguity and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project/program management within large, global enterprises.
• Proven experience with M&A IT integration projects within CPG or Industrial markets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and complexity.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance etc.).
• Experience with ERP platforms (SAP) and shared services models.
• Certified PMP preferred.
• Certified M&A Professional (CMAP) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (as needed) to support deal activities and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute complex IT projects for M&A, divestments, and business transformations.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment between business objectives, IT strategy, and timelines.
• Own program structure, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and delivery governance.
• Act as primary IT program lead for business integrations with focus on value realization and data integrity.
• Coordinate readiness activities including training, communications, and change management.
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure delivery and synergy realization.
• Develop integration roadmaps and oversee data integration, migrations, and process cutovers.
• Track progress against milestones, risks, dependencies, and targets.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation and integrated project plans across workstreams.
• Oversee ERP, application, and data migrations with data governance and regional considerations.
• Partner with business leaders to drive execution and benefits realization post-integration.

What you’ll do

• This role leads cross-functional teams to plan and execute complex IT projects for mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and business transformations.The role is accountable for end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment between business objectives, IT strategy, and transaction timelines. • Own the overall program structure, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and delivery governance
• Act as primary IT program lead for business integrations with strong focus on value realization, data integrity, and process excellenceBusiness Process Integration & Transformation
• Coordinate business readiness activities including training, communications, and change management
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure project delivery and synergy realizationDue Diligence & Pre-Integration Planning
• Develop integration roadmaps considering constraints and competing demands
• Oversee data integration, system migrations, and process cutovers
• Track and report progress against milestones, risks, dependencies, and targets

• Oversee ERP, application, and data migrations, including master data alignment and data governance
• Ensure alignment with global template processes while managing regional exceptionsStakeholder & Change Management

• Define KPIs and track benefits realization post integration

What makes you a good fit

Thesalary range for this role is $150000.00 and $170000.00. This range represents thegood‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offerfor this role at the time of posting.In addition to base salary, thisposition may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, asapplicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package asdescribed above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as thecandidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
