About the role

Alantra is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to help support its M&A and capital raising advisory business in our New York City office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of relevant experience with the ability to immediately and meaningfully impact the team, while also engaging thoughtfully with Alantra's training and onboarding practices. Analysts consistently work directly with Alantra’s U.S. Managing Directors, and over time high performers will have long‑term opportunities to rotate through our other U.S. and overseas offices, if desired.

Analysts are given substantial responsibility and are highly productive in helping grow the business. Requirements

• At least 1 year of investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or other similar experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record required; business, economics, health‑related and finance/accounting majors preferred.
• Knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices is essential.
• Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
• Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organization skills with ability to multi‑task and prioritize deliverables.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment.
