Alantra is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to support its M&A and capital‑raising advisory business in our New York City office. The role requires at least 12 months of relevant experience and offers a collegial, entrepreneurial environment with significant responsibility and long‑term growth opportunities across our U.S. and overseas offices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research and perform individual company analysis.
• Develop financial analysis and models.
• Support the creation of client proposals and presentations.
• Manage the data room and coordinate the due diligence process.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop interns.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or similar experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record; business, economics, finance, or accounting majors preferred.
• Knowledge of M&A and capital‑raising practices.
• Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
• Team player mentality with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organization skills with ability to multi‑task and prioritize deliverables.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment.
