Job summary

Kroll, a global leader in risk and financial advisory, is offering an internship on its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Team in Chicago. You will work alongside senior professionals on sellside, buyside, and capital-raising transactions, gaining hands-on exposure to financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Finance/Accounting or related degrees, with a minimum GPA and the goal to obtain FINRA Series 79/63/7 certifications.

Qualifications

Pursuing Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related degree with at least four junior/senior level courses.
Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028; GPA 3.2+; eligible to work without sponsorship.
Willing to obtain FINRA Series 79, 63 & 7 certification.
Strong quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Support senior management and gain exposure to clients, boards, and stakeholders during all phases of transaction advisory and execution.
Assist in financial modeling and analytics for M&A, restructuring, and deal teams.
Draft analyses, pitch materials, info memoranda, management presentations, and term sheets for M&A assignments.
Perform company, industry, market, and competitor research and due diligence.
Maintain communication between deal team and buyers/sellers, manage the data room, and coordinate meetings.
