Job summary

STN Incorporated is seeking a Senior Accountant – Integration & Acquisition Accounting to support due diligence, purchase accounting, and post‑acquisition integration in Pleasanton, CA. The role requires confirming GAAP alignment and coordinating with deal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include recording opening balance sheet entries, identifying policy differences, and mapping charts of accounts to the parent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years accounting experience, ideally including M&A, transaction services, or technical accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 805.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• CPA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support financial due diligence on target companies and identify policy differences.
• Prepare and support purchase price allocations and opening balance sheet entries.
• Lead or support integration of acquired financial records into the parent company's ERP.
• Map chart of accounts and harmonize close calendars and reporting packages.
