Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to drive the technical integration of acquired entities. You’ll consolidate hybrid environments, unify AD, migrate Microsoft 365, and integrate firewalls into Fortinet standards.

You’ll lead cross-functional workstreams and re-house endpoints to Entra ID, ensuring compliance and security across the estate. This contract-based, onsite role is based in Menomonee Falls, WI, with four days onsite and one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Architect.
• Expert-level knowledge of AD DS, DNS/DHCP, GPOs, cross-forest trusts, ADMT or equivalent tools, and hybrid Entra ID sync.
• VMware vSphere, vCenter/ESXi, bare-metal provisioning, and SAN/NAS storage migration expertise.
• Practical experience migrating M365 tenants and managing Entra-joined devices.
• Experience with perimeter firewalls, routing, VLANs, and site-to-site VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize the integration of acquired entities into the existing infrastructure.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams to consolidate hybrid environments and UNIFY domains and tenants.
• Migrate VMware workloads and reallocate or decommission SAN/NAS storage.
• Merge perimeter firewall rules into Fortinet standards and establish site-to-site VPNs.
• Re-house endpoints and servers to Entra ID, ensuring corporate PATCH, security and compliance.
• Safely retire legacy DCs, servers, hypervisors, and redundant cloud software after data retention reviews.
