Job summary

Kraken is seeking an Associate for its Corporate Development team to lead due diligence on live transactions, organize data rooms, and draft comprehensive reports. The role involves building operating models, scratch sheets, and performing valuation analyses to support M&A decisions.

You will also monitor venture investments, track KPI updates, and assist FP&A with deal-related cash flow forecasting. A strong finance background and excellent written communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience at a top-tier financial services firm or startup.
• Strong ability to analyze financials, business models and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence across live transactions, organize data rooms, schedule sessions, and draft diligence reports.
• Build operating models, comparables, DCF analyses, and accretion/dilution models.
• Prepare memos and teardowns on inbound opportunities and track portfolio KPIs.
