Job summary

Deloitte in the United States, Florida, Miami area is seeking a Senior Consultant, M&A Finance, to support finance integration and separation activities across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

The role covers Day 1 readiness, planning and execution, and close and consolidation, with responsibility for finance, accounting, and treasury priorities.

A strong candidate has 4+ years in M&A, 4+ years in related finance areas, and the ability to travel 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of consulting or industry experience.
• 4+ years in mergers and acquisitions or M&A service delivery.
• 4+ years leading workstreams within M&A engagements.
• 3+ years in accounting, finance, controllership, or FP&A.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in a professional services consulting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support finance workstreams across M&A engagements, including Day 1 readiness, integration and separation planning.
• Analyze finance, accounting, and treasury processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop workplans, track deliverables, and coordinate activities across client stakeholders.
• Prepare analyses and client-ready deliverables related to close, consolidation, planning and forecasting.
• Support Managers and engagement teams in evaluating options, synthesizing findings, and communicating recommendations.
• Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication and professional demeanor.
