Job summary

Nbutexas, a growing private equity firm based in Austin, seeks a Business Development Analyst to identify acquisition opportunities and build relationships with owners, brokers, and intermediaries. This is a deal-sourcing role, not a traditional finance position.

You'll conduct outbound outreach, qualify opportunities, and manage the pipeline in CRM systems, using data and AI tools to improve sourcing efforts. Private equity experience is not required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in sales, business development, sourcing, or client development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to business owners and executives.
• Competitive, persistent, and results-driven.
• Organized and comfortable with CRM systems and data.
• Bachelor’s degree; strong academic performance preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential acquisition targets.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and follow-up.
• Build relationships with business owners, founders, brokers, and investment bankers.
• Qualify potential acquisition opportunities.
• Maintain and manage your pipeline in the CRM.
• Document conversations and provide qualified opportunities to the M&A team.
• Use data and AI-powered tools to improve sourcing efforts.
