The leading AmLaw firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3-7 years of law firm experience to join its corporate practice in Boston. You will draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, conduct due diligence, and coordinate timelines with clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of law firm experience focused on mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary transaction documents.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior associates.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate definitive transaction agreements and related ancillary documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence and help identify and address key transaction issues.
• Coordinate deal timelines, signing and closing processes, and day-to-day transaction workflow.
• Work directly with partners, clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction professionals.
• Manage multiple matters and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and provide guidance on deal-related assignments.
