Qualified Staffing in Detroit is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join its corporate practice. The role targets 4–8 years of handling complex business, corporate, and M&A matters with active client engagement through the transaction lifecycle.

The attorney will draft, negotiate, and manage sophisticated agreements and work closely with clients and team members on diverse corporate transactions, including stock and asset purchases and JV arrangements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Michigan Bar admission
• 4 to 8 years of experience in corporate, business, and M&A matters
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional agreements
• Experience with stock purchases, asset purchases, LLC operating agreements, joint ventures, and commercial contracts
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to handle complex transactional matters with a high level of independence
• Law firm or relevant corporate legal experience

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate stock purchase agreements
• Draft and negotiate asset purchase agreements
• Prepare and negotiate limited liability company operating agreements
• Draft joint venture documents and agreements
• Draft and negotiate sales agreements and other commercial contracts
• Handle complex business, corporate, and M&A matters
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
• Work directly with clients throughout the transaction process
• Provide practical legal guidance related to corporate and transactional matters
