Qualified Professional & Technical in Detroit is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join its corporate practice. The attorney will draft, negotiate, and manage sophisticated transactional documents and work closely with clients and the legal team on complex business matters.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in corporate, business, and M&A matters, a J.D., and Michigan Bar admission. The role offers a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits, and a hybrid or on-site

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan Bar admission.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in corporate, business, and M&A matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
• Experience with stock purchases, asset purchases, LLC operating agreements, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate stock purchase agreements.
• Draft and negotiate asset purchase agreements.
• Prepare and negotiate limited liability company operating agreements.
• Draft joint venture documents and agreements.
• Draft and negotiate sales agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Handle complex business, corporate, and M&A matters.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
• Work directly with clients throughout the transaction process.
• Provide practical legal guidance related to corporate and transactional matters.
