Job summary

A leading international law firm in New York seeks a talented M&A Associate with 3–5 years of corporate experience to join its top-tier practice. You will work on sophisticated deals for PE sponsors, public companies, and financial institutions, handling due diligence, documentation, and client-facing matters.

Ideal candidates have exposure to private equity M&A and cross-border transactions, with strong technical ability, judgment, and attention to detail in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of transactional experience in corporate law.
• Exposure to private equity M&A and leveraged acquisitions is preferred.
• Ability to manage key elements: due diligence, drafting, deal team coordination and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Advise on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions for leading clients.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and related agreements.
• Coordinate deal teams and communicate with clients and counsel throughout complex matters.
