Job summary

BCL Legal represents a premier international law firm seeking a talented Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity Associate for its New York office. The successful candidate will counsel PE sponsors, strategic acquirers, portfolio companies, founders, and investors through domestic and international deals.

Applicants should have a U.S. JD, admission or eligibility for the New York Bar, and roughly 3–6 years’ experience in M&A/PE at a recognized firm.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Excellent academic credentials; active New York Bar eligibility/admission.
• Experience leading significant portions of corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Represent PE sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers and sellers in M&A and related transactions.
• Advise on leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, recapitalizations, joint ventures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition, merger and related documents.
