Job summary

LHH Recruiting is collaborating with an AmLaw 50 law firm to add multiple Corporate/M&A Associates in Boston. This is a premier chance to join a nationally recognized transactions practice working on sophisticated middle-market, upper middle-market, and PE-backed deals with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

2-7 years of corporate transactional experience.
Experience with mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and/or general corporate matters.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
Ability to manage transaction workstreams and work directly with clients.
Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Represent private companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and strategic buyers in sophisticated transactions.
Handle acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and other strategic transactions.
Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents.
Work closely with partners and clients throughout the entire deal lifecycle.
Collaborate with attorneys across a national platform on complex matters.
