Job summary

5 Legal is seeking an associate for its Antitrust & Competition team in any US office. The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience handling antitrust merger-review matters and a strong record of client service and teamwork.

Candidates with experience in merger investigations by DOJ/FTC and state attorneys general, Second Requests, witness preparation for depositions or hearings, and merger integration planning are highly valued. Bar admission in the state of work is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience working on antitrust merger-review matters.
• Major law firm or government experience is preferred.
• Experience with DOJ/FTC merger investigations and state AG reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist on merger reviews and related antitrust matters.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and investigational hearings.
• Litigate merger challenges and advise on merger agreements, due diligence, and integration planning.
