Job summary

Sancovia Corporate Finance in Miami is seeking a motivated analyst/associate to join our new U.S. office. You will help build target company universes, assess potential acquisitions and support the deal process from research to presentation.

This role offers significant responsibility early on, exposure to senior leadership and private equity clients, and the chance to shape a growing platform in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant full-time professional experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting, with ability to interpret financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Build, refine and prioritize target company universes for acquisitions.
• Identify and assess privately held businesses based on strategic fit and market position.
• Conduct company, industry, and market research using various sources.
• Analyze financial statements and support historical and projected info.
• Prepare profiles, presentations, and information memorandums for transactions.
• Maintain pipeline, CRM and reporting across multiple workstreams.
• Assist with outreach to founders and executives over time.
• Coordinate follow-up and information requests for discussions.
• Assist with valuation analysis and deal implications.
• Help develop templates, processes and reporting standards for the Miami office.
