Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks an Intern, Corporate Development Analyst in Westminster, CO for a 10‑week summer program. You will join the corporate development team to learn how mergers and acquisitions are evaluated, with exposure to finance, markets, and presentations for senior leaders.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience in corporate finance, conduct market research, and develop financial models while collaborating with Ball leaders and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, or related disciplines at an accredited 4‑year college or university.
• And has completed at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and the mergers and acquisitions space.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial information and building financial models.
• Proficiency Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal direction in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support project work in corporate development, in partnership with Ball’s business divisions and functions.
• Research and analyze markets and target companies to support potential M&A activities.
• Collect, process, and analyze financial data from various sources used by the corporate development team.
• Stay up‑to‑date on economic, financial, and industry trends and how they impact Ball.
• Assist Corporate Development team with financial analysis on potential strategic acquisition and investment targets.
• Help create presentations for senior management.
• Meet with key financial counterparts to learn about current activities with the M&A markets.
• Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado.
