Job summary

Taureau Group, LLC is seeking an Analyst to support the M&A team in engagements and transactions. You will work with senior members on business sales, acquisitions, and recapitalizations, gaining hands-on experience across finance, communications, marketing, and sales capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business.
• 1+ year of experience in investment banking, accounting, finance or similar role.
• Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and research platforms (e.g., CapIQ) is a plus.
• Exceptional critical thinking skills.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time.
• Willingness to take on additional work outside the scope of the job description.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the day-to-day management and execution of M&A transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of company valuations, financial models, company marketing materials and client presentations.
• Perform company and industry research.
• Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Build relationships and maintain up-to-date contact and guidance with clients and professional advisors.
• Engage in ongoing personal development in line with firm’s growth and development strategy.
