Job summary

Alantra is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst to support its M&A and capital raising advisory business in New York or Boston. You will work closely with U.S.

Managing Directors and Partners, handling pitch materials, client presentations, and complex financial analyses. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience, a finance/accounting background, and strong modeling, valuation, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant investment banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Focus in business, finance, accounting or similar preferred.
• Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising with the ability to apply skills creatively to a diverse set of clients’ needs.
• Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses.
• Experience reviewing analysts’ work models, valuations, and training; mentoring and pitch presentations.
• Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and author pitch materials
• Prepare client presentations and deal documents, including teasers, CIMs, and management presentations
• Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses
• Build advanced financial models for capital structures, covenants, and sensitivities
• Produce industry and company research
• Develop marketing strategies, conduct buyer outreach
• Manage due diligence and provide transaction support
• Support transaction negotiations
• Participate in recruitment and mentoring of Analysts and juniors
