Job summary

Focused HR Solutions, LLC is assisting in finding a Project Manager for a hybrid role in Mechanicsville, VA. The assignment is up to 8 months with possible extension, requiring PMP and CSM certifications, and extensive experience in technical project delivery across waterfall and Agile environments.

The candidate should oversee cross-functional teams, drive delivery, and optimize SDLC processes, including API-driven or microservices contexts; Azure DevOps and Planner Premium are preferred tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years project management experience in technical environments.
• Experience leading teams through waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC models.
• Experience with development, QA, and engineering teams.

• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and guide maturing Agile teams.

• Project management experience in technical environments leading teams through waterfall and agile methodologies Required 8 Years.
• PMP & CSM Certifications Required.
• Experience managing modernization or cloud-related projects. Required 8 Years.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle models. Required 10 Years.
• Experience working closely with development, QA, and engineering teams. Required 7 Years.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies and Agile delivery practices. Required 8 Years.
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and guide maturing Agile teams. Required 8 Years.
