Overlake Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for the Lynnwood Off Campus Emergency Department. This per diem, hybrid role involves performing waived and moderately complex testing and quality activities in a designated laboratory, while also providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The position offers a pay range of $25.95–$38.38 per hour with per diem shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required upon hire.
• Requires NAC, NAR, or MA-P licensure upon hire; remaining license must be obtained within 90 days.
• Minimum one year of health care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred; computer familiarity helpful.

Exciting opportunity in Overlake's new Off-Campus Emergency Department.

Overlake Medical Center is currently seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for our Lynnwood Off Campus Emergency Department. This is a hybrid position based on the MultiCare model used across Washington State. The primary role is to perform waived and moderately complex testing and associated quality activities within a designated laboratory. The ED Tech also provides direct care to patients of various ages and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Per Diem / Variable Shifts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification is required upon hire.
• Requires one of the following active licensures upon hire, the remaining license must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) required or will consider Washington State Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR)
• Washington State Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist (MA-P)
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred. Computer familiarity is preferred. Knowledge and handling of hospital equipment, record keeping. Ability to read, write, and speak in the English language.
