Kite Pharma is seeking an Associate Director for the U.S. Medical Affairs team focused on lymphoma and leukemia. You will work with Field Medical, Commercial, Market Access, HEOR/RWE, and Global Medical Affairs to implement tactics aligned with in-line and pipeline strategy.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 10 years relevant experience, MA/MS and 8 years relevant experience, or PhD/PharmD and 2 years relevant experience required.
• Advanced scientific or medical degree in life sciences, immunology, oncology, or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience with Medical Affairs in oncology and lymphoma/leukemia experience preferred.
• Strong Medical Affairs strategy, evidence generation, publication planning, and compliant medical review knowledge.
• Ability to translate complex clinical data into actionable medical strategy and field resources.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead priority workstreams and contribute to medical planning and execution of the U.S. Lymphoma Medical Affairs strategy.
• Serve as strategic medical partner to Field Medical, Commercial, Market Access, HEOR/RWE, and Global Medical Affairs teams.
• Translate clinical data and insights into actionable medical strategy and field priorities.
• Refine scientific communication platforms, core medical content, FAQs, slides, and field resources.
• Co-lead advisory boards, expert engagement plans, congress activities, and stakeholder events.
• Represent U.S. Medical Affairs in governance meetings with scientific leadership and recommendations.
• Partner with Field Medical to translate strategy into training, narratives, and resources.
• Provide medical review and approval of promotional, educational, and scientific materials.
• Contribute to publication planning and real-world evidence initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Manage cross-functional project timelines, budgets, and agency partners to ensure high-quality execution.
