Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patient; modifies therapy program and goals.
• Performs clinical documentation; enters charges; understands reimbursement aspects.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team; provides education.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills via ongoing education, literature review and evidence-based practice.
• Disseminates knowledge to develop colleagues' clinical skills; adheres to guidelines.
• Aligns personal goals with system goals.
