The role you’ll contribute:

The Physical Therapist provides self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Physical Therapy Association standards and Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (S): “Physical Therapist means a person who is licensed and who practices physical therapy in accordance with this chapter.”

• Perform consults based on database collection.
• Analyze assessment data to determine treatment course.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School upon hire.
• Minimum of BS Degree in Physical Therapy upon hire.
• Current FL state PT license upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI required upon hire.
• One hour of Hip & Knee replacement surgery education required within 6 months, then annually (Inpatient only).
• For department # 5060215500 OP Center Physical Therapy: Formal training in Pelvic Floor PT or Lymphedema PT and previous experience in treating pelvic floor or lymphedema conditions is required upon hire.
