Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide lymphedema care, perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress. Responsibilities include manual lymph drainage, compression therapy, and patient education to maximize functional independence.

Minimum qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, NC OT licensure, and CLT certification or equivalent; three years’ outpatient oncology lymphedema

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina; CLT certification or equivalent.
• 3 years of outpatient oncology-related lymphedema experience with garment handling.
• Knowledge of documentation and insurance authorization requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and treat lymphedema; develop individualized treatment plans.
• Apply manual lymph drainage, compression therapy, and decongestive exercises.
• Educate patients on self-management and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OT's and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate medical records meeting regulatory/accreditation standards (e.g., JCAHO).
• Manage lymphedema equipment and supplies.
• Supervise staff and ensure protocol adherence.
